June 16, 2024 Update
From Pastor Luke:
We are setting out to do something special. There is a need to improve access to our building. A lot of work and time has been put into trying to come up with a plan that would be cost-effective to do the work. Our end goal isn't building buildings, but we want the place we meet to have good access. As I have said before this comes at the end of many projects which we have been able to pay for as we go without financing. That has been a blessing from the Lord. This is going to add parking, lights and improve the look of our our property. This just happens to be the most expensive thing we have done.
The cost seems like a lot, but every time we made improvements to our building two things have happened: the financial needs were met and we have grown. This is an investment in the future of our church. I like the idea of every car having its own parking spot. And for there to be lights in the dark months. I like that we will have a bigger entryway where we can welcome, talk and safely connect to the rest of the building without having to pass outside. This will do more for our church than it seems on the surface. I hope you will continue to pray about what God would have you do.
I am really encouraged by the start we have made in faith-promises.
Total Building Fund: $ 216,890.42 includes some fulfilled Faith Promises
Total Remaining Faith Promises: $20,570.00
Total Remaining to be Raised/Faith Promised: $862,539.58
For us to meet the need of the loan we need almost $5,000 more a month, in addition to our normal giving. It won't work to take money we normally give in tithes and reapply it to building because those other financial needs still need to be met.
